Editorial: El Artista Magazine

In this issue El Artista Magazine introduces two new sections. The first one Letters from Readers collects opinions comments and suggestions that our readers have shared with us and we hope they continue to do so. They provide their perception of the magazine and offer suggestions on how we can improve our publication. The diverse range of letters we have received reflects the different ways in which El Artista Magazine has been received and read. These include enthusiasm for having a medium dedicated to art and artists in the region demands for wider distribution in schools and universities and a desire for more comprehensive coverage of various aspects related to art. Some letters also critique the content and approaches of the published articles. It is worth mentioning that all the letters are written with a positive constructive and sincere attitude demonstrating that the topic of art genuinely sparks interest across all social sectors.The other section Controversy arises precisely in response to readers interest in the artistic manifestations that occur in a realm where new and traditional concepts of art clash. These debates are passionately defended and attacked sometimes bordering on fanaticism making it difficult to discern the underlying reasons behind each position.El Artista Magazine invites its readers to continue sharing their comments and participate in the collective creation of art and culture.
